Building trust infrastructure for AI content
OpenCorpo exists because the EU AI Act creates real obligations — and most companies have no idea they apply to them.
The problem we solve
The EU AI Act Article 50 becomes enforceable on August 2, 2026. It requires that all AI-generated content — images, text, audio, video — be marked in a machine-readable format so it can be detected as AI-generated. The regulation mandates a multi-layered approach: provenance metadata, watermarking, and fingerprinting or logging.
The problem is that most companies integrating AI image generation into their products don't realize they're both “providers” and “deployers” under the Act. They don't have the technical expertise to implement C2PA, LSB steganography, and perceptual hashing. And the deadline is months away.
OpenCorpo solves this in one API call. Send an image. Get back a cryptographically signed, watermarked, fingerprinted file that satisfies all three layers of the Code of Practice.
Who we are
OpenCorpo is a product of Klart AI, an AI company based in Paris, France. We build practical infrastructure for the AI ecosystem — tools that developers can integrate in an afternoon and that handle the hard problems reliably.
We are a member of the C2PA Conformance Program — the coalition of companies including Adobe, Microsoft, Google, and the BBC that developed the Content Credentials standard. Our implementation follows the C2PA specification and is tested against the conformance suite.
A note on C2PA trust certificates
C2PA signatures are currently issued under a pending trust certificate. Our conformance application is being processed by the C2PA Trust List authorities (DigiCert / SSL.com). Until a Trust List certificate is issued, signatures are cryptographically valid but will show as “institutionally untrusted” in C2PA verifiers. This is normal for any new entrant to the program and is expected to be resolved as our conformance review completes. We will update this page when full trust status is granted.
Our values
